Breathe art in Santa Teresa neighborhood.
The neighborhood of Santa Teresa houses dozens of ateliers of artists who chose to find inspiration and create art in the neighborhoods’ old manors and bucolic environment. The Associação dos Artistas Visuais de Santa Teresa – Chave Mestra (Association of Visual Artists in Santa Teresa) will hold the Arte de Portas Abertas event in the 8th and 9th, and the public will have the opportunity to see from up close the development of creative work, as well as witnessing the works being made in these ateliers.
Each edition of the event attracts an average of 30 thousand visitors to Santa Teresa, and this year, in its 26th edition, the event has as its main goal encouraging a connection between artists and lovers of art. Among the spaces open for visitation are the ateliers of Ana Maria Motta, visual artists who also illustrates children’s books; the works of the architect Flavio Papi, renowned by his excellent work in scale models; the sculptures of Marcius Tristão and Pedro Grapiúna; and the painting of Regina Marconi and Sandra Fioretti, among other artists.
