The wonderful world of beer is back in October.
From October 11-15, warehouses 2, 3 and 4 of Pier Maua, on Boulevard Olimpico, will host the Mondial de la Bière, the international beer festival that for five years has pleased the palates of Cariocas and tourists. The menu is vast, with around 150 exhibitors, displaying exclusive labels, new aromas, textures and beer flavors, as well as importers, several food options in booths and food trucks and musical shows covering samba, rock and jazz. The expected attendance for 2017 is 60,000 people.
The Mondial de la Bière was founded in Canada 23 years ago, and draws on the fraternity among large and small beer producers and their end customers, opening a direct line between exhibition and sale, strengthening the product chain, generating business and making more than a thousand labels available to the public for tasting. The largest craft and premium beer hall in the Americas also highlights this chain with talk shows with professionals from the sector and a competition that awards the best labels, following the selection of specialized national and foreign judges and the public. Drink with moderation!
