The restaurant offers classic recipes of the French cuisine for those who want to enjoy this art at the busy everyday lunchtime.

With a panoramic view of Guanabara Bay, the menu of the Brasserie Lapeyre was created by the chef Ricado Lapeyre in a partnership with the restauranteur Eurico Cunha, which gave the house the award of best French restaurant of 2015 by Veja Rio Prêmio Comer & Beber awards. To start, chosen an authentic vichyssoise – a French cold soup made of potato and leek, or the traditional ouefs bénédictine, served with Parma ham and pieces of black truffle. The charcuterie – cold cuts – is also an alternative. For the meat lovers, our tip is the Boeuf Bourguignon — served with tagliatelle with butter. For those who prefer fish and seafood, our tip is crayfish a la Newburg – grilled crayfish tail, leek confit, eggplant caviar, and crunchy fennel. The traditional desserts are taken to the table on a cart.
