Founded in 1926.
With almost a century of life, Cosmopolita used to be attended by Senators of the Republic before the construction of Brasília, as well as known bohemians such as Pixinguinha and Madame Satã. It was also in Cosmopolita where the diplomat Oswaldo Aranha, a frequent customer of the establishment, created the dish that today has his name: a delicious filet with lots of garlic served with rice, “farofa” (toasted and seasoned cassava flour) and Portuguese potatoes.
