Located in Leblon, the authentic bistro combines classic Parisian recipes with Brazilian touches by carioca chef Pedro do Artagão, chosen chef of the year in 2014 by Veja Rio Prêmio Comer & Beber awards. The menu is divided in four parts: pour partager – to share; las entrées – starters; le plats – main courses; and les desserts – desserts, whose dishes are described in French on the blackboard that occupies a whole wall. The Portuguese version is taken to the table by the waiter. Among the options is this chef’s suggestion, called special formula. For a fixed price, the client can enjoy couvert, starter, main course, dessert, and water. For those who want to choose the fix dishes, ordered the gougères au requeijão; the steak tartare maison, served with leaves and fries; and the poulet au champignon – chicken with mushroom sauce, tarragon and pasta au gratin.
